My dad told me about Dave Gorman, who set out to drive coast to coast in america giving his money only to independant 'mom and pop' businesses, such as little garages local stores. It kind of reminds me of my project - looking for those little independant cafes that people seem to be forgetting about and how hard it is to come across them.
